Ralph’s Auto Center on Church Street has closed, but if you’re looking for a car or need automotive help, please reach out. Our story

Decades of cars and community

Founded by Ralph Medeiros Sr. in 1959 on Allen Street in New Bedford, Ralph's grew through many chapters. Over the years, the Ralph's name appeared alongside Mazda, Isuzu, Jeep, Cadillac, Chrysler, Chevrolet, and Peugeot. In its final years on Church Street, the business focused on used cars as Ralph's Auto Center.

Family, employees, and customers shaped every chapter of that history. Many customers returned year after year.

The Church Street location has closed. This page keeps Ralph's photographs and stories together while giving past customers a way to stay in touch with Andrew.
